Our facilities team has been hard at work all weekend trying to clear out as much of the snow/ice as possible. However, we are still facing significant barriers to holding school tomorrow. Several school sites still have no safe place for students to be dropped off/picked up and travel for our walkers will be difficult due to icy and snow filled sidewalks. We also remain concerned with the safety of several bus routes in rural areas and in our higher elevations.
As much as we would like to reopen and have students back in school, we must balance the decision of reopening with the safety of all students and staff.
