On behalf of the entire North Wasco County School District, I am pleased to share with you the highlights of our 2022-2023 school year in our first Annual Report. I encourage you to explore the full report to see all the incredible things that have happened this school year.

We are happy to announce that we are the recipient of a $2.4 million dollar Seismic Retrofit Grant from Business Oregon to make safety improvements at Chenowith Elementary!

The Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program is a competitive grant program from the state of Oregon that provides funding for the seismic rehabilitation of critical public buildings, particularly public schools and emergency services facilities.

[The Dalles, Oregon] [May 1, 2023] – Disney’s Moana JR. is playing at The Dalles Middle School on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13, 2023 and Friday and Saturday, May 19-20, 2023. Friday shows begin at 7:00pm and Saturday shows are at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Doors open 30-minutes before showtime. The 90-minute musical adventure, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 2016 Disney film Moana. The seventh and eighth grade cast and crew includes 45 students led by TDMS Music Teacher, Leslie Sullivan. This musical is generously sponsored by our headline sponsor, Tonkin of the Gorge and Subaru!! The Dalles Middle School and Leslie Sullivan would like to thank them for stepping up during our time of need!

Do you need to make up a failing grade? Are you behind in credits? TDHS is offering a free summer program that can help you get back on track with your credits. (Earn up to 2.0 credits)

Kindergarten pre-registration will be the first week of May! Contact your neighborhood school from May 1st to May 5th to get started.
