Stay connected to your child's school with ParentSquare. ParentSquare is our unified communication platform that offers a whole host of tools that allows our district, schools administrators, and teachers to more effectively communicate and engage with our families and students.

A public records request shall be submitted in writing through the district office at 3632 West 10th Street, The Dalles, Oregon 97058 to Superintendent, Dr. Carolyn Bernal or Executive Assistant, Cindy Miller. Board policy KBA, KBA-AR.

In the event of a school closing, the District will notify families using as many channels as possible, including: 

• Automated calls
• Email
• Text notifications
• District website https://nwasco.edlioschool.com/
• Social media

Please be sure to update your contact information at the beginning of each school year to ensure you receive appropriate updates from the District. This annual update can be done through the PowerSchool portal. If your contact information changes mid-year, please call your school building. As no system is foolproof, we encourage you to monitor more than one of these communication channels. Remember: If it didn't come from the District, it's not official.
