Destruction of Special Education Records

North Wasco County School District wants to inform parents/guardians and former Special Education students that on July 1, 2024, the district will destroy the records of students who have reached the age of 21 and ended/exited Special Education Services between 1980-2017. Special education services end when the student is no longer eligible for services, graduates, or completes his/her educational program at age 21, or moves from the district.

The Dalles, Ore., April 23, 2024 — Henry Begay of The Dalles High School was signed to Blue Mountain Community College today, April 23 surrounded by his family, friends, coaches and teammates.

Important School Calendar Updates

As we navigate the challenges presented by the January snow days, we have made some adjustments to the school calendar. These changes will help give students and staff additional time to complete trimester 2 and to ensure adequate instructional time for the remainder of the school year
